A Small Late 17th Century Panelled Oak Chest
The three-panel lid, which retains the original pin hinges, sits above a twin-panel front. The top rail, decorated with lunettes, whilst the panels have distinctive lozenge carving and are contained within long run-moulded stiles, giving the chest excellent proportions.
Probably Gloucestershire.
Circa 1680.
